The Problem
Many consumers wish to be able to customize their clothing and add their
own designs. However, they struggle finding good quality products with
good curation and differentiation of pieces and most of clothing suppliers
offering this service as a business to business service not direct to consumer.

My role/responsibilities:
UX/UI research & design Conducting interviews, wireframing, low and high-fidelity prototyping, conducting usability studies, and iterating on designs.
Design Tool:
Adobe XD
Project Duration:
4 weeks
User Research
I conducted interviews and created empathy maps to understand the users I’m designing for and their needs. A user group identified through research was people who want to start a clothing brand and need a platform to support with customization and infrastructure (dropshipping) (stamp and sell).
After the research, I was able to summarize the findings:
Persona
After summarizing the data, I was able to create a persona.
Information Architecture
Before starting the low-fidelity design stage, a sitemap was created. I decided on a hierarchical site structure, because it outlines the relationship between pages in order of importance.
Wireframes
Usability study: findings
I conducted two rounds of usability studies. Findings from the first study helped guide the designs from wireframes to mockups. The second study used a high-fidelity prototype and revealed what aspects of the mockups needed refining.
Round 1 findings
1 - Users need customization options when choosing their own popcorn.
2 - Users need a way to get reward points
for their purchases.
for their purchases.
3 - Users want to order snacks quickly
Round 2 findings
1 - User needs a way to log into your account to earn points before checkout.
2 - Users require more convenient information after logging in and adding snacks to the cart.
Mockups
The usability study revealed the need to change the way the size selection is presented so that it would be possible to choose the quantity and size when finalizing the customization of the clothing.
On that page, I added a button with the option to save the customization and also the option
to add more products without having to start over.
